Why?
If you don’t want a flurry of invitations every time you post, it seems to me like this would be one of the easiest ways to solve it -- subscribe to the Yahoo Groups with an email address that’s NOT attached to your LinkedIn profile. That would require people to actually communicate with you directly before sending an invitation.
