RE: [My Linkedin Power Forum] Re: File - Posting Isn't The Only Thing To Do On MLPF.

That's so important Johnny, earning your client's trust.  I have one client who does quite well in her business but she won't spend the time getting to know people and building relationships - she says it takes too long and is always looking for that next big thing to start promoting.  And yet I love to nurture relationships because you never know what's going on in peoples' lives. For me the end results has been some great friendships that have been lasting (some of my own team of Virtual Assistants have been with me for over 10 years) and long-term clients continue to refer others to me over and over and over again.

Cheers,

Hi Vincent,

This reminds me of my daily customer engagements in trying to encourage my Global account customers to migrate from traditional rack-mounted servers to HP blade servers. The morale of the story? It all depends on each customer's individual needs, requirements and desired benefits. It's certainly not a "one size fits all" silver bullet. I 'd learnt to respect my customers' positions, constraints and their ultimate business needs. End result? I 'd gradually trust their trust as a professional technical consultant & they often call me up to alert me on new business opportunities within their organizations.

Just my 2 cents' worth. Need to do something out of the mold to chase away the Mondays' blues.

Have a great week ahead. Regards.
